This role will serve as Head of Sales to lead and manage local commercial team, identify fast growing opportunities, and manage the sales team to accelerate the revenue growth.
This role will drive ambitious e-commerce strategic objectives in partnership (fulfillment & supply chain) with eBay teams to unlock the next phase of growth for my client in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Build up and enhance business relationships with Australia eBay teams.
- Responsible for domestic revenue growth and commercial related cost and expenses in the country by creating and owning a clear & attainable roadmap for sales success with goals, KPIs and time critical targets.
- Formulate and implement domestic business growth strategies in line with global sales strategies.
- Enhance positioning and brand awareness in the local market.
- Identify, evaluate, and manage integration with 3PPs and product localization requirements to accelerate top line growth.
- Improve competence and utilization of commercial team resources.
- Collect market intelligence and provide valuable inputs to related functions.
Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of relevant work experience in high-growth e-commerce / fulfillment industry.
- Highly analytical with strong knowledge of sales KPIs and expertise in deriving growth strategies from data insights.
- Have an entrepreneurial growth mindset, eager to challenge the status quo with an appetite for relentless optimization and experimentation. A can-do attitude at heart.
- Able to seamlessly move between forward thinking and tactical implementation.
- Have proven experience shaping high-level strategies and working through cross-functional teams across time zones to meet objectives.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills but also love to get your hands dirty and do heavy lifting by yourself.
- Have proven experience as a top sales. Ideally have managed a sales team and acted as a strong leader.
