Our client is a national heavy engineering specialist organisation with a local presence in Newcastle. We are seeking a skilled Gearbox Fitter to support their workshop team with competitive rates, overtime and afternoon shift available as well as the potential for full time, permanent placement for the right person. If you are a competent Gearbox Fitter with full rebuild and overhaul experience down to component level, then we want to hear from you!

What are we looking for?

• Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Previous Experience in full gearbox rebuild, overhauls and testing
• Dogging and Forklift Ticket Highly regarded
• Great work ethic and commitment to seeing a project through to the end
• Genuine commitment to safety policies and procedures
• Have reliable transport
• Excellent work references that can support your application

What we can offer you:

• $50 / Hour casual rate
• Overtime, day shift and afternoon shift available, penalties included
