One of Australia’s leading and largest Infrastructure company’s who employ more than 5000 individuals across the country is recruiting for a Financial Analyst.

Supporting the Finance Manager you will assist with the annual business planning & budgeting, quarterly & monthly profit reporting as well the bid cost forecasting. The role will have a key focus on commercial insights and future performance drivers.

Duties include:

  • Prepare variance analysis on actual/ forecast vs budgeting including relevant commentary
  • Prepare overhead forecasts, review resource allocation
  • Working Capital reporting, forecasting & active management
  • Manage the monthly recharge of overhead costs to projects
  • Assist with the annual budget & business plan
  • Capital expenditure actual & forecast reporting
  • Manage the transactional processes with respect to bid cost/overheads to ensure PO’s are raised on a timely basis
  • Schedule/ attend monthly contract reviews and support the Finance Manager in determining actions
  • Prepare ad hoc reports & analysis

Skills:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Minimum of 3 -5 years experience in financial management of contracts (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of project financial management systems, project accounting and financial analysis
  • Only candidates from a construction/infrastructure/projects/transport background will be considered for this role
  • Experience on computer applications and databases for financial reporting e.g TM1
