The Financial Accountant - Mining will provide finance and accounting support for the completion of tasks associated with the operation of the mine site.
Key duties and tasks will include the:
- Monthly & statutory reporting
- Managing accounts, rebates and royalties
- Managing Creditors
- Monitoring and providing advice/recommendations regarding site expenditure
- Managing documentation for sales & invoicing
- Liaising with external auditors & tax agents
Candidates with demonstrated experience in a similar role (not limited to Mining) will be considered, as industries such as construction, heavy industry, industrial or quarries may be relevant. A relevant degree qualification is required with CA/CPA preferred or in progress.
about the manager & team
This role reports to the CFO and provides dotted line support to the Accounts Officer in the completion of their duties. The work environment is transparent and flexible, as our client understands the importance of providing the right working environment for their employees.
Travel to site will be required one week per month (departing Adelaide on Monday morning and arriving home on Friday). Additional travel may be required at the beginning of your employment to support some key tasks on site and can be discussed at interview.
