Key Relationships:
- Internal: Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting and building cross-divisional relationships with executive management
- External: Key player in the external audit process with the Group’s external auditor.

Key Accountabilities:
- Provide technical accounting advice to support commercial outcomes.
- Offer thought leadership on accounting matters to Group Finance.
- Influence the Group’s external auditor on technical accounting issues.
- Design and implement accounting policies; train finance teams.
- Manage changes to accounting standards; lead statutory reporting.
- Ensure accuracy in financial statement disclosures.
- Analyze and implement improvements to legal entity structures.

Experience and Competency:
- CA/CPA qualified with significant post-qualification experience.
- Preferably experienced in financial services
- Demonstrated experience in financial statement production and accounting standards interpretation.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and innovation.
