Randstad Albury is currently seeking an experienced Finance Support Officer to work with the Victorian Government on a part time basis. This contract would be 2 - 3 days a week for 6 months with a possible extension.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic candidate who has a willingness to learn.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main duties will include but not limited to:

  • Processing high volume of invoices
  • Monthly reconciliation
  • Weekly supplier payment run
  • Follow up on all accounts receivable/payable relate enquires
  • Maintain AP and AR master files
  • Ensuring general ledger integrity
  • Perform filing and other general administrative tasks
  • Carry out any duties which are within your skill and competence

To be eligible for this role you will need

  • Previous accounts experience
  • Knowledge and experience in administrative and support functions including Accounts Payable, Receivable, Reconciliations, OHS, Reception, Document Management and/or HR processes
  • High‐level literacy and numeracy skills with strong attention to detail
  • Highly effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated time management and organisational skills with the proven ability to plan, co‐ordinate, organise and deliver own and other’s work in a self motivated manner
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience with systems including MS Suite, reporting, financial and/or customer relationship systems
  • Current driver licence
  • The ability to get a Working with Children and Police Check
