It is with great excitement that sonnen have just announced the establishment of a major manufacturing plant in Elizabeth, South Australia. The plant expects to build 10,000 batteries a year for households in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific. With the recent launch of the Home Battery Scheme, up to 40,000 households in South Australia will be eligible for subsidies to install sonnenBatterie systems under the $100 million government rebate scheme. In addition to manufacturing, the Elizabeth site will also accommodate sonnen’s Australian headquarters and its central Asia Pacific shipping facility.

The Role

What a time to join the sonnen family! This is a unique combination of an exciting start-up site with the stability and backing of a strong, established, and rapidly growing business. The role includes supervising and coordinating activities of final inspections conducted by employees. You must ensure employees are completing their work assignments in compliance with personnel safety guidelines. Commissioning and configuration of the power storage units including fault finding, repairs and final inspection are essential to this role.

Skills and Experience:

To be successful within these roles:
Must have 4 - 5 years experience in electronic testing, final inspection supervisor, electronics, maintenance or similar. A sound understanding and working knowledge of warehousing PC systems is a essential. You will show a management style that encourages team involvement, improved morale and continuous improvement of processes along with a strong commitment and high communication skills. You must be quality conscious and have an accurate way of working. Your communication, organizational and interpersonal skills must be of a high standard, with a flexible team orientated spirit.
