Facility Manager

Our client is a innovative Aged Care provider dedicated to providing genuine continuum of care in world class communities created worthy of our loved ones.

This leading, reputable and value based employer is looking for their next Facility Manager to join their team in this brand new facility. The role is located in Canberra, in the beautiful picturesque suburb contacted minutes from the CBD.

The role

Reporting to National Care Manager, you will be accountable through the Care team for care delivery to residents living in their own homes, within the retirement living community and palliative care facility. You be responsible for providing clinical advice and leadership to the Care team, supporting them in the delivery of high quality care. In this role you will be responsible for the below:

  • Lead a team of talented and dedicated clinical and non clinical employees, including the on boarding and orientation to the organisation’s
  • Overseeing the delivery of care services, ensuring the organisation’s care meets legislate requirements, contractual and budget compliance and in delivery of home care packages, CHSP and Fee for Service Care
  • Create and implement care team strategies to ensure compliance with clinical and support professional standards
  • Implement system’s to monitor and track outcomes and oversee the facilities performance
  • Manage multiple programs including personal care and home nursing

About you

  • Bachelor of Nursing (AHPRA Registration)
  • Strong clinical assessment and care delivery skills
  • Experience and ability to lead care delivery as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Clinical and care manger experience in home care funding streams such as DVA/VHC, CHSP and HCP
  • Have a passion for working within the aged care sector
