job description

Based in Parramatta, the Facilities Manager is to deliver all aspects of the facilities management model for the precinct in line with the functional requirements for its future operations and meet the 6 Green Star rating requirements for the buildings.

The Role

As Facilities Manager, you will lead the creation and implementation of all aspects of the facilities and precinct management in the line with the functional requirements for future operations. You will be tasked with defining the scope and relevant business programs, products, and processes for facilities management to be delivered within the precinct.

As Facilities Manager you will apply environmentally sustainable design (ESD) best practice principles as they relate to building services to meet 6 Green Star ratings for the project. You will develop and manage the transition planning and organisational change process as they relate to all aspects of the facilities management to support the delivery of the new community/cultural/civic facilities.

The Person

To be successful in this position you will need tertiary qualifications in either project management, business management, construction, or a related degree. You will have demonstrated experience in leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams in an environment of change and demonstrated experience in delivering policy and strategy relating to operational service delivery within the public sector.
