The Company

This client is a market leader National FM Company providing services to a large government corporation based inner West Sydney Burwood. Based on site with their client this FM role will support the Operations Manager

The Role

This is initially a temporary role (fulltime hours) and requires a person that is available now for the next few months. However the client is hoping that this role will become a permanent role after this time period.

Key accountabilities of the role:-

  • You will manage ongoing performance of contractors
  • This will include scheduled and adhoc works
  • Process invoices for both scheduled and adhoc maintenance
  • Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments for the tasks associated with the contract
  • Monitor and manage all sites
  • Conduct site operations and review site operations to ensure cost effectiveness is maximized
  • Manage site operations to ensure continuity of building services with minimum disruption to the department’s business operations
  • Key interface for all stakeholders involved with client and internal and external stakeholders
  • Various other projects and responsibilities are involved

The Candidate

This role is for an experienced Facility Manager with following skills and attributes:-

  • Strong relationship skills
  • Knowledge in one of the major core areas, facility management or corporate real estate
  • Strong administration and PC skills
  • Strong contract management experience
  • Stakeholder management experience
  • Self-motivated and flexible
