This a fantastic opportunity for a Senior precinct and place manager to join a client side organisation for a long term contract on Australias biggest infrastructure program. The primary purpose of the role is to lead the provision of specialist place-making,strategic planning and precinct planning for the project, to ensure metro stations and surrounding precincts are integrated with surrounding areas, activated and consistent with the overall project and government objectives.As a senior precinct and place manager you will be responsible for:Provide direction, specialist advice and input into a range of precinct design and development processes including station and interchange plans, precinct masterplans and precinct development plansDevelop strategies and provide advice on interim activationurban design and public domain outcomes and the integration of place making and property development outcomes for station precinctsManage place-making resources and key stakeholder relationships to ensure critical masterplanning andrezoning processes are delivered in accordance with project milestonesCoordinate and maintain effective and collaborative place-based relationships with State and localgovernment agencies and private sector partners Develop and influence the preparation of masterplans for complex station precincts, including leadinginterfaces with precinct development agencies, where relevant To be successful in the role you will need to have experience in the delivery of effective place making and precinct activation solutions and balancing these against the needs and interests of various precinct stakeholders. You will need to also have experience in delivering the best practice place-making, urban design and activation approaches in a transport oriented context, and understand key urban and transport planning policies, strategies and legislative requirements.This 18 month contract is paying in the vicinity of $1000 per day + super and requires a start towards the end of May. Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, you will work across the full development life cycle from acquisition through to delivery.
