Client Details

Randstad has partnered with My Place in looking for their next Executive Assistant to their Managing Director. This is a newly created role and a very exciting to time to join their organisation.

My Place is a not-for-profit provider of individualised and flexible supports to people with disabilities and their families.

My Place now supports around 380 people with disability to live in their own homes or remain in their family home and become valued and contributing members of their community. These supports are provided across the Perth metropolitan area, Great Southern region and the South-West region. My Place engages more than 400 direct care staff and 30 Co-ordinators/Team Leaders.

My Place does not provide any group home, day centre or other congregate care services.



Description

Your duties will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Managing Director, Board and Corporate Executive team, including: electronic diary management, maintain an up to date contacts list, and manage certain email correspondence
  • Uses effective judgement to identify issues of importance and have the ability to initiate and respond on behalf of the Managing Director.
  • Researches, prioritises, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to Managing Director and Corporate Executive team, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Assists the Managing Director in the execution of appropriate course of action, referral, or response as and when requested
  • Attends Board, Sub-Committees and Corporate Executive meetings and record, prepare and distribute minutes
  • Promotes My Place and advocates for people with disabilities

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Extensive experience in an Executive Assistant role
  • High level interpersonal and verbal / written communication skills
  • Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point) and minimum typing speed of 60wpm
  • Strong organisational and time management skills prioritising own work to agreed deadlines with ability to work under pressure in a busy working environment
  • Proactive approach and ability to provide initiative.
