Your new company is a global organisation specialising in beauty and cosmetics who is currently seeking an experienced Events Coordinator to join their successful and high performing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation with a highly regarded, premium brand. The products are healthy, botanically based and completely natural. Products include skincare, nutrition, cosmetics, hair care and baby products, and are sold in globally.

Your new role will be to provide support in the coordination of the events program. This will include event registration management, researching various aspects of events e.g. venues and transportation, providing administrative assistance with invoices, basic copy writing power point presentations and handling event related enquires from consultants.

Your main duties:

  • Support the Events Manager to execute the events program from concept to delivery
  • Administrative support in preparation for events
  • Prepare information packs for staff, and speakers
  • Work with suppliers both internally and externally
  • Research and organise promotional items for events
  • Organisation of hotel bookings and travel arrangements as necessary
  • Resolve problems or complaints from both internal and external customers
  • Work within strict timelines and within defined budgets
  • Assist the Events Manager in the development of all support material including agendas, flyers and registration lists
  • Initiate creative requests as needed to support project

Your profile will demonstrate

  • Proven experience in events and project management is essential
  • Great time management and organisational Skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Convey written information clearly and effectively through formal and informal documents and convey information orally effectively before a group of employees.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write reports and correspondence
  • Maintain a high standard of punctuality and attendance
  • Must be motivated, confident, positive can-do attitude, energetic and creative.
  • Must be flexbile to work at both Eastern Creek initially and move to epping region at 6 months
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule and overtime hours when requested to do so. Attend off site meetings, some of which may necessitate travel and overnight stays
