An experienced Estimator to bring their skills and knowledge to the existing team. As an integral part of the process, this operationally driven role will best utilise your expertise in the following areas.

About the Role:
An experienced Estimator to bring their skills and knowledge to the existing team. As an integral part of the process, this operationally driven role will best utilise your expertise in the following areas.

  • Review house plans for errors and omissions to prepare tenders and costings
  • Compile and produce preliminary cost estimates, and process pre and post contract variations
  • Ensure all changes, revisions and / or variations are documented and communicated to the customer
  • Regularly liaise with other departments to advice of relevant cost issues
  • Prioritise and schedule work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Managing tender & quoting procedures.
  • Quantify materials & labour rate
  • Work closely with the Project Managers to achieve a successful outcome on all sites

Skills and Experience Required

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the building industry
  • Residential estimating experience
  • Microsoft excel comprehensive understanding
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Good understanding of plans & specifications
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player
