job description

At the resource centre of the world, be part of the research team tasked with analysing, researching and promoting value enhancing opportunities for clients across existing listed securities, primary and secondary equity raisings.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Effectively form and promote market investment views/strategies within the advisor network, institutional clients and Corporate department
  • Model and value relevant projects and businesses
  • Prepare relevant strategies for delivery to corporates, institutions and private clients
  • Develop and maintain knowledge based on key Western Australian business sectors
  • Preparation of reports and gather information that assist in communicating views and strategies
  • Proactively engage with advisers/clients/corporate department and respond to client requests

Role Requirements

  • Ability in financial modelling, project, asset and business evaluation
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present ideas and views to a wider audience
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure
  • High attention to detail
  • Highly developed report writing skills
  • MS office skills to an advanced level

Qualifications

  • A practical degree in Engineering/ Science etc
  • Finance or Commerce degree will be highly regarded
  • RG 146
