Randstad is seeking an experienced Enterprise Content Management Specialist to be responsible for analysing, designing, developing and maintaining effective and efficient solutions, in particular web based content in alignment with enterprise architecture.

Key accountabilities:

  • Identifying business requirements for content management, involving all stakeholders in the requirements definition process.
  • Integrating systems with the complex array of existing systems and documenting associated mechanisms.
  • Assisting in the design of an integrated authoring environment for content creators, ensuring that authors have easy access to the full range of features provided by the content management system.
  • Developing and maintaining adequate documentation to ensure enterprise content systems processes are transparent to users, administrators and developers.
  • Ensuring the solution design adheres to IT architecture and security methodologies, strategies standards and advice.
  • Maintaining adequate security levels and audit trails to protect the integrity of enterprise content.
  • Developing a range of enterprise content reports including usage statistics for various users and supporting customised reporting as required.
  • Maintaining the functionality and presentation of published pages to deliver useability, accessibility, speed and effective user navigation.
  • Providing escalated enterprise content management support.
  • Providing input into the definition of relevant policies, procedures and standards.
  • Managing the delivery of solutions undertaken both internally and externally.
  • Execute safety responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities consistent with the organisation.

Essential requirements:

  • Tertiary level qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of all technical aspects of Enterprise Content Management and the environment in which these technologies operate.
  • Exposure to Enterprise Application Integration and environment in which these technologies operate.
  • Experienced in implementing Enterprise Content Management solutions in a large, multi-platform environment operating a broad spectrum of diverse applications.
  • Practical hands-on experience in platform technology tools; especially RM8, Sharepoint.
  • Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management methodologies.
  • Well developed technical troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve problems.
  • Good communication and systems documentation skills.
  • Proven experience in web-based development and programming (Strong skills in HTML, Javascript, and ASP or JSP).
