Emergency Department ANUM - VIC
An exciting opportunity exists in Victoria only 8kms out from the Melbourne CBD to work as an Emergency Department ANUM for a busy private hospital housing over 30 treatment spaces and 2 designated resus spaces.
The team looks after 70 - 90 new patients in the ED daily. The team provides a mix of paediatric and adult care. The role is a challenging one and ideal for someone who has been in management roles and is looking to extend their knowledge and experience to a large team of over 60 staff.
This is a busy emergency department Working over a 24 hr - 7 day roster that is provided as far out as 6 to 8 weeks in advance with no on-call requirements.

Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Nursing, post graduate in Emergency Nursing held for at least the past 2 years and current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated core competency skills in managing a large team and the stresses of a busy emergency department.
- Understanding and knowledge of nursing legislations including standards and practices that affect delivery of nursing services.
- Minimum of 5 years experience working in an emergency department environment.
