Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you will work closely with maintenance trades and production personnel where you are responsible for the site’s automated control systems to ensure the plants overall efficiency to meet demands. You will implement a proactive maintenance strategy and develop and implement processes to ensure continuous improvement is achieved.

The role:

  • Primary point of contact for all control systems on site
  • Provide training and support to production and maintenance teams
  • Continually improve plant capability, safety and reliability
  • Manage consultants engaged to perform additional project works
  • Design and documentation for new/amended processes

The candidate:

  • An Electrical Engineering qualification, preferably at degree level
  • Electrical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with PLCs such as AB, Siemens, Rockwell etc
  • HMI touch screen design experience including Panel-View
  • SCADA set up in Citect and RS View
  • Knowledge of SQL databases
  • Ability to use AutoCAD
  • Strong analytical and planning skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and people skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Proven experience in managing tasks to budget and multi-tasking
