- Lead a team of media and communications officers, providing advice and services for all media and communications needs within the agency.
- Ensuring the effective coordination and management in media and communication-related events, including ministerial or agency launches, campaigns and other events.
- Provide advice and assistance on issues and opportunities, including media handling, proactive media and communication activities and campaigns.
- Leading and managing the work of a team, including actively managing the performance and development of staff, team resources and budget.
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver timely, high quality and consistent messaging and measured communications outcomes for diverse audiences.
- Motivates and empowers others, providing clear direction, development and coaching, and modelling behavioural standards.
- Expresses information clearly, speaking fluently and presenting views with skill and confidence.
- Have strong, recent experience in the media environment.
