job description

We are working with a Federal Government client who has a rare Marketing role within their branch. The purpose of this role will be to do an analysis of the market then using their superior Digital and Marketing experience to promote the products and services of this new Government Scheme.

We are seeking experienced Marketers, who can bring additional skills in writing for the web, strategy development, campaign development and evaluation.

The role will be until the end of the financial year with a possibility of extension depending on the outcome of the budget.

Role details include:

  • Devise and align marketing plan and execute
    1. Set priorities and devise all aspects of the marketing plan in conjunction with key stakeholders
    2. Identify future needs, trends and resources to efficiently and effectively market and its products. This will include analysis of market and targeted marketing strategies
  • Plan and monitor marketing budget
  • Oversee all elements of marketing campaigns
    1. Build awareness of and value in its products
    2. Develop a campaign concept and manage the production of branding
    3. Manage the scheduling, planning and production of advertising and marketing materials
    4. Manage marketing roll-out, including advertising, direct marketing campaigns, signage and collateral distribution
    5. Track campaign against timelines and project plans
    6. Edit marketing copy as required
    7. Proof and edit marketing publications and materials
    8. Oversee the scripting, presentation and production of promotional materials and media packages and coordinate their distribution
  • Lead the digital and social media strategy
    • Working with Central Communications, devise and implement online marketing and social media strategies
    • Manage digital marketing campaigns, including regular website updates
    • Explore and implement new technologies and channels to enhance and expand their digital offering
    • Develop digital content for the website and other online resources
    • Oversee website and online resources to ensure brand and design consistency
    • Monitor, manage and respond to commentary, enquiries and feedback delivered through social media channels
    • Monitor, build and protect the brand online

You must be an Australian Citizen and have formal degree qualifications in Marketing or similar in order to apply.
