The Strategy Branch provides strategic advice to all business areas of the Agency ensuring that projects and initiatives align with the Agency’s priorities and partner senior executives to provide insight and solutions for making decisions to guide them to deliver improved outcomes for participants and all its stakeholders.

This exciting opportunity will be responsible for analysis and insight development contributing to creating and managing strategy development, policies, priorities and operational practices. You will also be required to coordinate and manage complex and highly sensitive projects and work programs aimed at achieving the Agency’s desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Gathering and developing structured insights and recommendations for strategic projects
• Developing fact based quantitative and qualitative analysis including modelling in Excel
• Creating materials and presenting recommendations and implications for senior stakeholders including the Executive Leadership, Board and Minister
• Presenting recommendation and facilitating discussions with a range of stakeholders and senior leadership
• Developing action plans and to enable successful implementation of complex tasks and projects
• Developing content to embed change, including policy papers and guidance materials

Ideally you will possess:

• Ability to demonstrate proven experience making significant contributions to strategic projects
• Ability to solve complex problems and lead workstreams, consultations and workshops
• Experience in the disability, health and/or aged care sectors or lived experience with disability
