Randstad Education are seeking a highly motivated and professional Early Childhood Educator to join the team for one of our clients based in Gunghalin.

This well established organisation ideally want to meet with candidates who align with their core values of care and respect, professionalism and innovation. Their purpose is to provide total childcare solutions to local families within the Canberra region, with openings in their Gunghalin services.

An exciting opportunity has come up for a passionate Educational leader to start as soon as possible. A an experienced room leader / lead educator you will have a sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and be able to coach and guide other educators in delivering the best care to the children within the service meeting the National Quality Standards.

To be considered for the role you will need to have the following:

Qualifications and Essential Experience required:

  • Previous experience in a Lead Educator or Room Leader position
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management
  • Current Working with Vulnerable People Card
  • Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Learning (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

Preferred Experience, Skills and Knowledge

  • Passion for working with children and working in the childcare sector
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated initiative and being able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
