The centre

This LDC is located in beautiful Lake Haven and the team are passionate about early years education and care, with sustainability taking a big part of their programs. They have a strong and supportive management team and will pay above award salary. Their goal is to rejuvenate and revive the centre to achieve outstanding results. They offer a great culture and really invest in their team.

The role

Your role will be as the Educational Leader for the centre and you will be joining a newly appointed director to work on improving the centre to achieve their goals of exceeding in all areas. You will need to enjoy a challenge and be very passionate about early years education.

Responsibilities with include:

  • Working closely with the experienced and passionate director to help achieve the services goals
  • Be responsible for overseeing the programs and incorporating the centres goals towards sustainability and holistic learning
  • Developing meaningful relationships with families and caregivers, ensuring you understand each child’s needs as an individual
  • Mentoring and supporting your team members to deliver the best possible outcomes for the children

About you

You will be a passionate ECT who isn’t shy of a challenge. You will have the opportunity to become a key part in shaping the future of this service.

You must also have the following:

  • A bachelor degree in Early Childhood Teaching OR ACECQA assessed equivalent
  • Ability to inspire your team and connect strongly with families and children
  • A strong believe if early years education
  • An in depth knowledge of the EYLF and NQF
  • Excellent communication skills
