WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

• Bachelor level qualification in Early Childhood Teaching, which specifically covers the age range from birth to 5 years
• Ability/Willingness to meet the English language requirements of the Teaching Council New Zealand: www.teachingcouncil.nz/content/language-competency-requirements
• Willingness to live and work in New Zealand
• An appreciation of the importance of Māori and Pasifika language, culture and identity.
• Experience working in an early childhood education setting an advantage
