job description

Position available in the toddlers room in this 86 place centre in Five Dock. The centre caters for children between 6 weeks to 6 years old and are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join the team as soon as possible. The centre provides a school readiness program for pre-schoolers and need a strong educator to provide with implementing this, this is focused on language development, literacy, numeracy and socialisation.

A warm, welcoming and supportive environment is provided, children are encouraged to learn, play and grow. There is a brand new outdoor environment, where children are encouraged to learn and explore.

The Centre:

  • School readiness, numeracy and literacy programs

The Role:

  • The successful candidate will join this amazing team and lead the staff in the nursery, there is also an Early Childhood Teacher position in the toddler room
  • Continue the self-guided curriculum based on the interests of the children through project based learning
  • You will possess the necessary skills to continue the outstanding early education programme and to work well amongst the existing team.

Essentials for this role:

  • Applicants must hold an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework
