About Us: Our client are a well-established early childhood education centre located in the heart of North Gold Coast. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children can learn and grow. We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in our Kindergarten Room.
Position Overview: As an Early Childhood Teacher in our Kindy Room, you will play a vital role in fostering the cognitive, emotional, and social development of young children. You will be responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and working collaboratively with a team of educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families.
- Maintain a safe and clean learning environment.
- Collaborate with a team of educators to ensure best practices are followed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
- Teacher's registration and certification (if required by the state).
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Blue Card (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain one.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for early childhood education and a dedication to the well-being and development of young children.
