The Centre

This beautiful centre located in Narraweena is very focused on the environment with beautiful natural spaces created both inside and out. The outside space is large giving the children the opportunity to explore and have fun. The centre has 3 rooms all dedicated to ensuring each child can grow to their full potential.



The Role

Your role will be as the Room Leader in the 3-4 year old room which accommodates up to 28 children. The position is full time working 38 hours a week over 4 days. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Programming, planning and documentation for the children
  • Mentoring and supporting your team of educators in that room
  • Creating a safe and stimulating environment in your room

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A bachelor degree in Early Childhood Teaching or a Diploma in Children’s Services (ACECQA assessed equivalents are accepted)
  • Experience working as Room Leader in a Long Day care setting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for assisting the development of children
  • Valid Working with children’s check and First Aid
