A world renowned Engineering firm is seeking an experienced and outcomes focused Document Controller / Project Administrator to join their project team in Sydney CBD.

The Role

As the Project Document Controller / Project Administrator you will maintaining the overall document management system. In addition, you will be supporting a team with general administration support where needed, so this would be a great role for anyone seeking to work in a fast paced environment.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Manage and distribute both internal and external documents
  • Receive, record and store documents correctly (soft and hard copies)
  • Ensure documents are archived using in-house procedures and requirements
  • Track and report on documents and their status
  • Document control database updating and cleansing
  • Communicate changes of documents and/or accessibility of records to relevant personnel
  • Release and distribute controlled copies of documents
  • Administration: data entry, document imaging, purchase orders, finance admin, filing, retrieval and referencing
  • Identify and resolve any discrepancies within documents
  • Assist and advise teams on preparation of documents

Skills Required

This role requires a high level of communication, attention to detail and administration skills.

In addition, you will have:

  • At least 3 years experience in document control / project administration
  • Aconex, TeamBinder or Asite experience
  • Intermediate - Advanced MS Office skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Resilient when faced with challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
