The Centre
This small community based, non-for-profit Preschool service based in the Northern Beaches. They operate during term time only from 9am-3pm, Mon-Fri and are closed during school holiday periods. They are looking for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to take over the daily management of the centre as well as lead the programming and curriculum for up to 30 preschool children enrolled with them. They follow a Montessori based philosophy where children are exposed to practical structured learning as well as free play that is led through each children’s interest. Their friendly, established team is experienced and have trusting relationships with children and families.
Your Role:
You will be the Early Childhood Teacher and Director of the preschool, and you will be responsible to:- Manage the day-to-day operations of the pre-school in line with legislative
- requirements, association policies and procedures
- Lead, motivate, mentor and support the small team of educators
- Build relationships with families, children, educators, and the local community
- Work collaboratively and report back to the preschool’s family board
- Lead the learning curriculum for preschool in collaboration with other educators based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
- Adhere to high quality NQS and QIP practices

- At least 2 years experience as an ECT
- Montessori Diploma (3-6 years old) is desirable but NOT essential - training can be provided
