Randstad Education has partnered with a reputable privately owned company with services in Zetland (60 places) and Moore Park (80 places). They are looking for a strong and experienced Diploma Educator or ECT to join their team and work in the junior preschool room, 3-4 years (x 2 roles available, one at each centre). At both services you will be supported by an experienced educator who will work in collaboration with you to run the room. They adopt a shared approach to taking on responsibilities therefore the workload evenly distributed between staff and everyone has input! You will also have training provided by an internal trainer who works in collaboration with TAFE for career development and enhanced professional knowledge.

The centres follows a play and interest based approach to learning and features purpose-built indoor and outdoor facilities to ensure educators are able to provide high quality learning experiences which are linked to the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF). Both services are located near local shops and cafes. Underground parking is available for staff and close to public transport. The centres are open Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 6:00pm and can offer flexible shift times between these hours, working full-time 4 or 5 days a week. The centers are highly resourced with electronic whiteboards and many more modern tools. Be welcomed into an established team environment with experienced staff!

The Role

Your role will be as a Diploma Trained Educator or Early Childhood Teacher and you will be responsible for:

• Assisting to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children
• Establish, nurture and foster collaborative partnerships with families and communities to achieve quality learning and development outcomes for children
• Be reliable, respectful and work constructively with your colleagues and other professionals
• Develop and maintain high quality documentation and teaching methods

About You

To be successful in this position you must have:

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education OR ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• A current Working with Children’s Check
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• Understanding and knowledge of the National Quality Framework
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
