job description

This role is responsible for generating fresh and engaging content for both our primary product and also our main marketing website, with a primary focus on generating uplift in website traffic and leads, overseeing the production of content, taking ownership of editing and approving content, and contributing significantly to the creation of articles, videos, newsletters, emails and social media assets.

You will be reporting to the Marketing Manager for Organic Digital Channels (SEO, Content and Social) and primarily work with our SEO Lead, Senior Content Designer and Social Media Marketing Manager.

The ideal candidate will be

  • Highly organised and motivated
  • Possesses a healthy appetite for learning and a great eye for detail
  • Confident in copywriting, proofreading and editing
  • Solid grasp of requirements for sharable and engaging content
  • Experienced in producing videos, articles, emails, newsletters and social media assets
  • Has experience with WordPress and other CMS platforms
  • Has a basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Possesses at least a high-level understanding of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) and Social Media Marketing

Responsibilities

  • Work within a pre-established Content, SEO and Social Media Marketing strategies to lead content production from ideation to the final result
  • Work closely with our Senior Content Designer and SEO lead on content initiatives for the main Marketing website
  • Work closely with our Social Media Marketing Manager to devise content ideas for our social media platforms
  • Copy-writing for both our product and the main marketing website
  • Use web analytics to determine and measure which activities are performing well and also highlight areas of improvement. This includes performing ongoing analysis and assessment of website content, providing recommendations for updates and improvements
  • Manage all external content providers on the generation of ideas, delivery of all content items, editing and approving all content before it is published, enforcing standards of top-quality content and brand quality standards
