About the Role

We are currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanics for Darwin both local & FIFO. This role involves the service, repair and maintenance of a fleet of trucks, trailers and earthmoving equipment in an efficient and timely manner following the maintenance and workshop procedures.

Duties

  • Effectively diagnose and find faults in the mechanical assessment for repair, maintenance and service
  • Servicing for all fleet, including trucks, trailers, dolly’s and motor vehicles following the maintenance procedure and workshop manual
  • Replacement of brakes, suspension components and steering systems
  • Paperwork completed accurately

Skills and Experience

  • Trade Certified in Heavy Diesel Mechanics
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Experience with CAT & Volvo would be Highly regarded
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team
  • Minimum HR Licence required, but MC preferred
