Your Company

In partnership with Randstad, my client is an exciting and motivated development business about to start 10 years worth of high-end retirement living construction across different sites in QLD.

As a result of their continued success and large volume of enquiries they are looking for an experienced Development Manager to manage, drive and support their next three major stages of development.

This company have built their strong reputation on their passion for providing a product to the market that positively contributes to the local community. They consider themselves “a step above” other high-end retirement living providers and this shines through in everything they do.

Your Position

Reporting to the General Manager the role has a key focus on the development management of initial civil component and project delivery, as well as support to the sales & marketing and finance teams as required. A strong understanding of project management and contract administration is essential to the role, coupled with a detailed process understanding of land development and infrastructure.

You will have an expert ability in building relationships with council and relevant regulatory bodies as well as associated consultants. Stage one will be ninety, one and two story high end houses along with a community centre and associated buildings.

  • Development Management / Project Management expertise
  • Significant and demonstrated practical experience in managing multiple high-end residential or retirement living building projects
  • Solid understanding of contract management and legal principles pertaining to property development
  • A hands-on approach and capacity to work from concept to practical completion
  • Demonstrated experience with feasibility analysis, business case development and report writing
  • Proven ability in managing stakeholders, building relationships, influencing and negotiating
  • Establishing and managing project coordination – ensuring projects keep to agreed development program
  • A high degree of professionalism, integrity and ethical behaviour
