Development Consultant required with a background in urban planning/engineering/environment (graduates welcome!) OR 5+ years’ experience working within a development servicing/infrastructure or planning environment.

About the candidate:

  • Demonstrated knowledge in one or more product and servicing types (water, wastewater, stormwater, recycled water), and contemporary approaches to integrated servicing (Integrated Water Management, Water Sensitive Urban Design).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in development assessment, engineering and or planning
  • Understanding of: Urban development, connection processes, risk assessments and application to process
  • Experience in assessing submitted documents including: commercial deeds, designs, funding /procurement packages and finalisation packages
  • Applicant has a high standard of professional integrity, and a high degree of personal resilience

Key Accountabilities:

  • Providing a commercially successful case management service for development customers at the precinct level
  • Part of the role includes debt collection, client case management, seeking data inputs from 3rd party reports
  • Develops integrated servicing solutions for development customers
  • Design and deliver intelligent end to end property servicing solutions for complex developments to meet Regulatory timeframe and Operating Licence requirements.
  • Deliver a customer experience that increases customer satisfaction
  • Collects and analyses complex development data from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Reviews and coordinate the establishment of Interim Operating Procedures
  • Contributes to and/or develop technical specifications and design documentation to ensure the protection of the network and infrastructure.
  • Reviews the company’s delivery programs to ensure efficiency (ie Renewals etc)
  • Prepare funding documents for complex works / cases
  • Tracking Sheet updates
  • Request feedback from external stakeholders on design solutions, quotes and other assessments
