job description

As an experience Development Compliance officer you will proactively audit approved developments with the local council area. You will be responsible for undertaking investigations and compliance actions relating to the development and environmental matter of the local government area.

Responsibilities

  • Investigation and resolve development related complaints
  • Provide responsive and detailed technical advice
  • Investigate complaints associated with environmental matters
  • Established, implement and monitor councils extractive industry inspection program
  • Manage client expectations in relation to enquires and complaints

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in local government in a similar position
  • Demonstrated experience in case management in local government
  • Experience in compliance audit programs
  • Knowledge of development application process (Part 4 certifications and applications)
