    My client is a large Government Agency based in St Leonard's who is currently looking to fill a Desktop support position to assist with the deployment, configuration and support of PC and peripheral devices connected to the Technology LAN and under the management of the organisations Technology.

    Daily duties include:
    • Update the Service Desk to reflect job status as activity is undertaken.
    • Develop and maintain PC application configuration and security packages for delivery to user desktops, including patch management
    • Assist in validation audits and hardware testing of laptops, desktops and tablets.
    • Testing of mobile devices including phones as well as hunt groups, printers and other peripheral devices.
    • Software installation on a range of devices.
    • Setting up of desktop and laptop environment within the office.
    • Production support to a BAU environment.
    Experience required:
    • Previous Level 1 \ Level 2 support experience.
    • Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 support experience.
    • Experience supporting Office 365.
    • Active Directory experience.
    • LAN / WAN support.
    • Software troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge of Citrix.
    • Ability to work unsupervised.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
