Design and Technology Teacher

Are you an experienced teacher with a passion for Engineering, Metal and Wood work and are you able to teach a Certificate I or II in Engineering? Would you like to fundamentally influence the lives of student’s under your care and do you thrive on building relationships? We might be looking for you!

Randstad Education is proud to be partnering with 2 great private secondary colleges based in the regions of Fitzroy and North West QLD.

About the roles

  • Years 7-12.
  • Fulltime, permanent position, start Jan 2019.
  • Teach Engineering as well as Metal and Woodwork. Create things, solve problems.
  • At one of the schools there is at least one other teacher to work with on this subject area.

About you


  • Are an Australian Citizen or Resident with valid work rights.
  • Have a valid current registration with QCT.
  • Have experience teaching engineering, woodwork and metalwork.
  • Ability to teach Certificate II and/or I in Engineering
  • Are passionate about a student’s learning growth and can adjust accordingly.
  • Are a team player.
  • Uphold and support the ethos of the college.
