Deputy Principal - Learning and Teaching will be responsible for overseeing the teaching and
learning program for Years 7 to 10 and the VCAL program.

The Head of Teaching and Learning will:

  • Lead and manage the learning and teaching team and program
  • Provide coaching and leadership to staff
  • Organise and administer the professional development of staff
  • Be responsible for initiatives to enhance student engagement
  • Ensure reporting procedures are adhered to and completed in a timely manner
  • Oversee strategies for teaching staff to address and achieve learning goals

The School

The school is a boarding school catering specifically to aboriginal girls in secondary years of education. Located just over an hour from Melbourne CBD in the beautiful surroundings of the Yarra Valley.

The Successful Teacher Will:

  • Have 5+ years experience in a senior leadership role in the education environment
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Have strong leadership skills
  • Have great interpersonal skills
  • Passionate about education
  • Be creative, innovative and adaptable
  • Have experience providing training
