About The Role:

This role will see you partner with, and support the Facility Manager to come on board to manage this 80 bed facility in the Gosford / Bateau Bay area.

  • To manage, lead and develop care and facility staff to achieve the resident care strategy
  • To ensure that the service meets quality standards and contractual agreements.
  • To manage all operational site requirements
  • Effective coaching and training of all resident care staff
  • Managing ACFI requirements to ensure effective, compliance, assessment and documentation to achieve excellent funding outcomes.
  • To promote the service within the industries' community and maintain key networks and partnerships

About You:

You will bring strong leadership qualities, previous experience working in residential aged care and more importantly have a passion for leading a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of quality care.

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing / Business Management
  • Previous experience working as a Registered Nurse in Aged Care (essential)
  • Ideally leadership/management experience within an Aged Care environment
  • Proven experience in developing performance of RN's, EN's and AIN/PC's and other roles
  • Solid ACFI and Aged Care Accreditation Standards knowledge

Demonstrated clinical governance experience and strong operational leadership experience will be pivotal in this role.
