You will oversee and manage our delivery of the works program in alignment with our contractual agreements and service obligations to our client. You will be expected to make commercial and financial astute decisions, that support the Electricity business in delivering its business plan.

The role is accountable for driving a high-performance culture across the regional operations team which operate out of our Rockhampton and Townsville depots and leading the team to be client focused, innovative, and sustainable.

You will be providing key leadership and direction to the service delivery team, which consists of 60 field workers, Site Supervisors, Estimators, and the regional Planning and Scheduling team.

About you

• Tertiary qualification in engineering, electrical trade, or business management are preferable but not essential
• Currently based in Rockhampton, Townsville or have the ability to relocate
• The ability to travel to both depots located in Rockhampton and Townsville
• Return budgeted financial returns for projects
• Support in the negotiating of contract related issues including terms of head contracts and subcontracts, subcontractor management including agreement of terms and conditions, measurement and payment, cashflow reporting, establishing / maintaining commercial / financial controls for projects including variation registers / delay registers valuing variations
• Developing risk mitigation strategies for successful delivery of projects
• Monitor, analyse and report on performance (KPI) data and service delivery metrics to ensure timely delivery of all services, inclusive of presenting to the clients representatives on performance
