- 12 month engagement + extensions

The Role
The candidate will have a proven track record working with cyber technologies including – vulnerability management, SIEM, SOAR and Threat Intelligence.
The candidate will demonstrate adherence to the Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) and the Information Security Manual (ISM). Additionally, consideration will be given to candidates who have demonstrated architectural and program experience.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical advice and direction as a Cyber Security SME.
- Implement essential eight controls and uplift maturity.
- Assist in the architecture and development of secure platforms based on zero trust principals.
- Working closely with the site monitoring and reliability team to mature the incident response capability.
- Stakeholder and vendor management.
- Create and circulate documentation to showcase procedures to assist with knowledge sharing across key stakeholders.
- Automate current processes to allow for rapid growth and scalability.
- Mentor and develop Cyber Analysts within the team.
Essential criteria
- Proven experience in a fast-paced SOC environment
- Advanced Incident Response – demonstrated ability to respond to a major incident
- Experience in mentoring junior staff
- Proven automation experience
Desirable criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in cyber security
- Relevant industry certifications
