Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security strategies and frameworks to safeguard organisational data and assets.
• Assess and evaluate risks and vulnerabilities within systems, networks, and applications.
• Conduct regular security audits and compliance assessments, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Design and implement effective security controls to mitigate identified risks and threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls into business processes.
• Lead the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and standards across the organisation.
• Participate in external audits and assessments to ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Review and deliver cyber security-related policies, procedures, and processes governing the enterprise.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, PCI-QSA, and ISO27001 LA/LI.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Deep knowledge and understanding of cyber security governance principles and best practices.
• Senior-level experience in Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) consultancy.
• Experience in assessing cyber maturity and identifying areas for improvement within a corporate environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills across various organisational levels.
• Familiarity with working directly with cyber security working groups and executive Boards.
• Proficiency in facilitating and evaluating divisional cyber assessments.
• Ability to provide actionable recommendations for cyber uplift and prepare detailed reports for oversight.
• Expertise in developing and implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) based on established frameworks like NIST or ISM.
