About the role:

Randstad have partnered with a rapidly expanding business that supports the mining industry located within the inner Southern suburbs. This position is a full time, permanent opportunity and as the successful Customer Support Officer, the core of your role is to manage, assist and support Account Managers with customer enquiries, quotes and sales closures.

In addition to this, you will need to:

  • Rapidly respond to inbound phone customer enquiries
  • Provide product or service recommendations and resolutions
  • Build product knowledge and solutions to assist with customer queries
  • Achieve business KPIs
  • Manage customer portfolios
  • Create internal Customer Orders
  • Liaise with Operations team
  • Produce quotes within agreed time-frame

To be successful for this position, you will need:

  • Previous experience in sales
  • Confidence in providing product knowledge/recommendations to customers
  • To have been in a call centre or sales role for a minimum of 2 years
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail
  • A professional, friendly and customer-focused demeanour
