An industry leader within financial service is looking for multiple service professionals to support their customers whose accounts have fallen into arrears by offering a tailored approach, negotiating suitable payment arrangements and strategies. This role will see you developing relationships with customer to help them identify appropriate solutions to the challenges they face. You will use your ability to build rapport, your emotional intelligence, negotiation skills and business acumen to offer superior service to customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls from customers relating to mortgages in arrears
  • Establish rapport with customers through genuine and meaningful conversations
  • Help identify tailored payment solutions for customers accounts in arrears
  • Negotiate and implement suitable payment plans
  • Deliver exceptional customer outcomes that strengthen the partnership with each customer
  • Identify issues and influence the customer to achieve positive outcomes for the customer in the future
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to create strategies for assisting customers

About you

  • You have previous experience in collections across mortgages or another similar role
  • You like to help people find solutions and add value in each customer interaction
  • You have experience working in complex customer service environments focused on building relationships with customers, handling challenging situations and finding appropriate solutions
  • Experience or knowledge across collections, credit and lending will be highly regarded
