Your new role

A 6 month contract exists for a Customer Service agent to utilise their experience and skills to assist a fast paced team. You will work as a team to meet and improve customer and stakeholder service delivery across various channels. Your main duty will be to respond to customer enquiries in council’s call centre and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner. You will be using council specific systems to administrate transactions on behalf of internal and external customers.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role you must have at least 1 year of experience in a call centre environment and be confident at multitasking. You must have a professional phone manner and work well in a fast paced environment. You will possess the ability to maintain professional relationships, integrity and accountability with all staff, service providers and stakeholders. Local government experience is highly regarded but not necessary.
