Primary responsibilities include day to day order management, effective stake-holder and relationship management, admin, and continuous improvement initiatives.

More about the role:

  • Point of contact with customers for any order enquiries
  • Manually entering orders into SAP from
  • Resolve product or service issues as they arise, escalate to management major or continuous issues phone/email/fax and sales and special offers after approval
  • Generate & check daily order summary to review open orders
  • Manage customer and sales representative phone calls and order flow to daily order cycle (e.g. cut-off) through to customer with optimum service levels
  • Advising customers of monthly promotions
  • Checking, updating and releasing orders with delivery blocks
  • Escalate order block / hold for arbitration where necessary
  • Support tasks to Team Lead / 2IC as directed
  • Ensure legal/audit requirements meet with accurate paperwork
  • Update all online portals to ensure quick clearance
  • Ensure all order paperwork is archived correctly to meet audit requirements
  • Basic new accounts administration
  • Assisting on projects from time to time relating to position. E.g. SAP upgrade
  • Attend training sessions outside of normal working hours within reason

Desired additional skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, Siebl, Pronto, JD Edwards or working knowledge of an order management system
