About the Role

I am seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor, with a background in dealing with high profile clients. This role will be in Melbourne CBD. You will be responsible for small team of people providing 24/7 support to clients, dealing with queries in relation to inventory and logistics.

This role is on a full time temporary basis for approximately 5-6 months, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. Pay for the role is equivalent to an annual salary of $90-100k plus Super and On Call payment. The successful candidate will be required to start as soon as possible in January 2018.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Management of a small team – development and coaching
  • Managing the fulfilment of each order process, whilst providing superior customer service across all clients
  • Provide 24/7 support to urgent orders with immediate processing needs – the on call phone will rotate on a weekly basis for after hours support and paid on an hourly rate (minimal/occasional use)
  • Liaison with third party logistics as part of the order process
  • Ensure stock coverage and monitor inventory holdings across multiple warehouses nation wide so that customer demand is met
  • Development of action plans in relation to processes, performance and continuous improvement
  • Provide internal and external reporting as required
  • Any other duties required by management

Skills & Experience

  • Previous relative supervisory/team management experience within a Pharmaceutical/FMCG/Warehousing or related environment
  • Previous experience in liaising with third party logistics (warehousing and distribution)
  • Previous experience with critical items inventory management
  • Previous experience with SAP (essential)
  • University degree in Business or Supply Chain (desirable)
  • Proven process improvement mind set
  • Optimum attention to detail
  • Prompt, efficient and accurate communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office - must be able to use Excel to a high ability (pivot tables; V Lookups etc)
