Customer Service Specialist

About the role

Our client is currently recruiting a Customer Service Specialist to work within their corporate office based in Rydalmere. You will be joining a highly reputable company who are a leader in their field globally. The role will be on a fulltime time permanent basis, providing you with potential for growth and development within a stable role.

Your typical day will include:

  • Record and track all customer service requests.
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls and ensure appropriate action is taken relative to each call.
  • Ensure all callers feel valued and are treated with respect and care.
  • Ensure clear ownership and accountability is given to all customer contact encounters.
  • Carry all customer service inquiries to their conclusion and agree with every customer that each issue has been resolved satisfactorily.
  • Work with the finance and AR team to resolve any invoicing queries promptly.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and confirm details during every call.
  • Manage weekly revenue and lost customer reports
  • Assisting Sales Team when necessary
  • General Ad Hoc Duties as assigned

Your profile will demonstrate:

  • Excellent customer service from a retail or office experience or customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sound decision maker and a self starter
  • Previous CRM and/or systems experience
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver a resolution
  • Work as part of a team and independently without supervision
