Position Overview:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Health Insurance Customer Service Officer to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with inquiries related to health insurance policies and claims, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to navigate complex situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Educate customers about product features, benefits, and usage, addressing inquiries via phone, email, or in person to provide comprehensive product knowledge.
• Respond to customer questions and concerns, guiding them through product selection and ensuring a positive experience while assisting with incoming inquiries.
• Oversee account details, process payments, handle billing issues, and update information while ensuring data accuracy and privacy in managing members' accounts and payments.
• Greet and assist customers at the branch and over the phone, addressing their needs efficiently and professionally as the first point of contact.
• Address and resolve issues and complaints using problem-solving skills to ensure timely and satisfactory solutions, resolving customer concerns promptly.

Desirable attributes:

• Previous customer service experience in retail, call center, banking, etc. (insurance experience highly desirable)
• Demonstrating a caring nature, fostering a supportive team environment.
• Excellent communication abilities, prioritizing transparency and openness.
• Strong emotional resilience, maintaining composure under pressure.
