Our client is a nationally well known brand and is respected for helping independently and family owned businesses succeed. They are in search for a star Customer Service Officer who will join their fast paced customer service team to assist with the high volume of calls and emails providing excellent customer service and assisting their clients and customers, claims and stakeholder management.

This is an exciting permanent opportunity and the successful candidate will be required to be available to work a flexible span of hours commencing at 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 2pm Saturday (when required), and public holidays if required.

Your Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Working in a fast paced call centre, answering a high volume of inbound calls and emails to assist customers with their enquiries
  • Proactively manage claims end to end
  • Provide outstanding customer service
  • Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships, as you will be working with well known Australian and international brands
  • Complaint handling and problem solving
  • Database Management
  • Inputting orders, claims, customer records and administration


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Call Centre Customer Service environment preferably in a distribution environment but not essential
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to make appropriate decisions and suggestions from analysing data
  • Able to work in a high pressure environment and maintain patience with difficult customers
  • Working in a changing environment and can adapt to change easily
  • Exceptional organisation and time management skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and individually
  • Intermediate Excel skills to include formatting & formulas
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications at an intermediate level
